選挙はたいへん
昨日の参議院選挙は、ほんとうに感慨深いものがありました。
当選した方も、落選した方も一応に選挙戦が終わって支持者の方々に対する感謝の気持ちで一杯になり、目をうるませて弁をのべる姿が感動的でした。
当選した方はこの気持ちを生涯大切にし国政の舞台で大いに御活躍していただきたいものだと思います。また、惜しくも落選された方もこの感謝の気持ちを持ち続ける限り将来きっと大きな実を結ぶときが来るでしょう。
ところで、選挙のように多くの人々の判断に身をゆだねるつらさ、個人の力だけではいかんともしがたい歯がゆさは、この社会で生きていく全ての人々が多かれ少なかれ経験する事ではないでしょうか。しかし、そういう局面に立たされたときのその人の心の持ち方で結果は大きく違うのではないかと思います。今現在自分がこの社会で生かされていることに感謝し、自分の欲にとらわれずに廻りの人々の幸せを常に祈る事が結果的に自分を助ける近道のように感じます。
今回の選挙でマスコミが責任を追及して迫るシーンが多く見られました。今の社会では当たり前かもしれませんがどことなく寂しいものを感じます。責任の取り方はその当事者が決めることで廻りが騒ぎ立てて大方の人が望む結果を誘発するものでは無いと感じます。責任を取るべき人はそれなりの覚悟と信念をもって行動しているのですから。
何だか説教じみた日記になりましたが、今の気持ちを一言だけ。また書きます。
